The headstone, shared on Paul’s official Instagram page still run by his loved ones, features a small sculpture of a dog—a gentle symbol of the love that defined much of his life. Alongside him rests Brendan Murphy, his partner and dearest friend, who passed away in 2005.

“The addition of a small statue of a dog serves as a tribute to Paul’s unwavering love and support of animals,” the post read.
